Batch dyeing

Batch Dyeing is a cost-effective service - if colour accuracy is a priority, then perhaps Custom Dyeing is the services you’re looking for. In batch dyeing we process your order together with items of similar fabrics and fibres. You can dye multiple items to any array of CullaChange colours you choose and receive a discount on the price per item, the more you bring in. Colouring your items this way places the focus on price, ahead of colour. How does this work? It is more cost-effective to dye bigger batches of our CullaChart colours, so we can pass that saving on to you. Though, in bigger batches, the different items compete for the dye, so the final colour result can vary slightly from the chart, in this service -although we reprocess your items again if they dye lighter than expected. While we dye the sewing threads, polyester stitching can dye lighter - yet it generally looks better than staying the original colour to read more about what to expect after batch dyeing your item, click here!

With all items, we offer to re-dye them a second time at no extra charge if the item is in good condition and a second process could improve the final result. PLEASE NOTE: we do not refund or replace dyed items or any accessories. Our consultants are only too happy to discuss any concerns with you before you go ahead with your order.

Secure sleeve: items that have accessories such as belts, buckles, hooks, loops, ties, or are made of lace or delicate fabrics, need to be put in a secure sleeve so they don’t catch, tangle or get snagged on other items in the batch and is an additional $5-$15.

Jackets and coats: 90% of internal linings and shell fabrics of jackets and coats have raw fabric edges. We over-lock (secure) these seams before dyeing, so they will not fray open whilst in water. This is an additional cost of $15 – $25. We do NOT recommend dyeing articles when seams are unsecured as the item ALWAYS (seriously!) ends up in shreds
